Eric R. Hutchinson, Owner/Director

Eric R. Hutchinson holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Professional Music with a triple concentration in Education, Performance and Songwriting from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Mr. Hutchinson has spent several years as Director of Music Production at First Congregational Church of Vernon, CT. His original Musical, Believer, went on to win two legislative citations from the State of Connecticut. In 2002, Eric was hired by East Granby Congregational Church to direct the second tour of Believer. Hutchinson has served as Director of Percussion for NFA and Montville High School and Director of Jazz and Percussion at Killingly High School in Danielson, CT. Hutchinson’s original work has been performed throughout the United States and Canada at such venues as Giants Stadium, Disney World, and The Globe Theatre. He has shared the stage with such musical talent as Wynton Marsalis, Livingston Taylor, Aretha Franklin, Melissa Etheridge, Corey Glover, singer from 80’s rock band Living Color, and Jason Bonham, son of the late Jon Bonham from Led Zeppelin, to name a few. On Easter 2002, Eric performed for 20,000 spectators including the President and First Lady of the United States on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C. Recently, Hutchinson has served as Director of Music for East Granby Youth Services, Pep Band Director for the WNBA Connecticut Sun, Artistic Director for East Granby Summer Theatre, Show Writer for Montville, Killingly, Dondero, Putnam, Rockville, Rocky Hill and Bloomington High Schools, composed the film score for the 2003 movie “Disregarding Dick”, and has completed three East-Coast Tours with Boston-based modern jazz quartet Four on the Floor. Eric currently holds the titles of Director of Jazz and Percussion at Rockville High School, and Director of Percussion at Berlin High School. He returns to Connecticut after 6 months training to be the drummer for the United States Navy Band.

Stefanie Mullane, Choreographer

Stefanie Mullane currently serves as East Granby Middle and High School’s Spanish teacher.  Stef has been competitively dancing, instructing, and choreographing for nearly 25 years.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education and Spanish from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.  There she was the president of the Dance Club, produced campus productions and taught at Bristol Danceworks Studio to produce community-wide shows.  She studied with Greater Hartford Dance Academy and the Dance Factory in Connecticut for 16 years prior to entering RWU.  Stef’s dance study also includes workshops led by figures such as tap dancer Savion Glover and hip-hop star Wade Robson.  She has performed in various venues including Disney World, Montreal, Atlantic City, and Wildwood, N.J.  She currently attends Central Connecticut State University in pursuit of her Master’s Degree in Remedial Reading. Stefanie’s past choreography includes: East Granby’s 42nd Street, Anything Goes, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and High School Musical.  She recently has begun serving as the Director/Choreographer for East Granby Middle and High School and East Granby Summer Theater including the production of Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Once on this Island, the Music of GLEE!, and this summer’s Grease, School Edition.
