For anyone who is wondering about Kid Rock registration, it will start soon! There are several ways to register this year; online at www.ImagineSP.com, in person at the New Britain YMCA, or by mail. In addition to our partnership with the YMCA, Kid Rock also has an exciting new format, including: separate classes for Jr. Rockers and Classic Rockers, a great new rehearsal site, a gorgeous performance venue, a new theme, and much more! Nicole Violette is 16 years old, and a junior at East Granby High School. Nicole stated dancing when she was 3 years old and from that she did her first musical at the age of 6. She fell in love with being on stage and she has done at least two shows every year since then. Nicole also plays the French Horn and marches in her school band, and she participates in basketball and football cheerleading. Nicole’s performance credits include: Seusical, Anything Goes, Bye Bye Birdy, Joesph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Believer. Nicole loves the “Kid Rock” Program, and has been a classic rocker in the last two shows. Being an original member of Imagine, she looks forward to seeing not only new faces, but old faces from past years as well. Every rehearsal is an adventure and every show is fabulous. With a phenomenal crew and band supporting the cast, Imagine Stage Production never fails to amaze her. Collaborating with the best director in the world, Eric R. Hutchinson, this year “Kid Rock” will be better than ever!

Josh Leadbeater is 20 years old and going into his senior year at the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Actuarial Science. He is also currently serving in the Connecticut Army National Guard, as an active enlisted member of rank Specialist, MOS: 11B Infantry. He is from East Granby, CT, where he originally started doing theater under the direction of Imagine’s Eric R. Hutchinson starting in 2003. He has been with Imagine Stage Productions since they were formed in 2007, and has been not only a member of the cast but is also a member of the Imagine Band. He loves that Imagine brings kids and adults of all ages together and performs real-life rock concerts, log professional studio time, and give its participants many more awesome rockstar-like options. Josh has held numerous theatrical roles, including lead roles in Anything Goes, Annie Warbucks, Seussical the Musical, and many more. In his spare time he is captain to a men’s soccer team, playing as their goalkeeper. He plans on pursuing a career as an actuary, but will always find time for soccer, the Army, and of course - Imagine Stage Productions.

Kid Rock was a HUGE success this year. Thank you to everyone who helped make V3 the best show yet! As we move towards fall, Private Lessons are now booking.
